CELEBRATE A SEASON OF CHANGE!

 

In June of 1860, our founders wrote in the minutes of the first meeting

“The object of this Association is to advance the study and promote the progress of music in St. Louis and to encourage the re-union and social intercourse of the lovers of music in our city.”

 

Last season marked our 165th, a milestone year. Our founders could only dream that this orchestra would still exist in 2026, uphold extraordinary artistic standards, and stand out as a robust, cultural organization. What began as an ambitious vision has grown into a thriving orchestra that continues to contribute to and enrich the musical life in the St. Louis community.

 

This season is one of change and all the challenges a new chapter in our Philharmonic history presents. But, with the resilience, passion, and dedication of our orchestra members and the generosity and continued support of our Patrons, our Guest Conductor Series will bring bold, energized, and exciting concerts featuring some of the most captivating, charismatic and dynamic conductors to grace our podium.
